These are the rules MedConsult is designed against. They shape product decisions before a single line of marketing copy is written.

    Patients come first

    Every decision, from copy to layout, is judged by whether it helps a patient understand and act with confidence.

    Clarity over cleverness

    Plain language, one clear next step per screen, no dark patterns or manufactured urgency.

  3. 03

    Privacy is not a feature

    Consultations are private by design. Health information is used only to provide care.

    Accessible to everyone

    English, Hindi, and Hinglish support from the first release. WCAG AA as the accessibility floor, not the ceiling.

  5. 05

    Emergencies are out of scope

    This service is for non-emergency consultations. Every relevant page says so clearly, with a direct instruction to seek local emergency care.

  6. 06

    Build in the open, ship honestly

    We would rather say less and mean it than promise more than the product can deliver on day one.
